I am The Brandinista.

ALONA_ONSET

In the content jungle, wielding a Valyrian steel machete, I rally the masses of distracted audiences across digital, editorial, social, events, and traditional media–delivering connection and community in unexpected places and spaces.

As Managing Creative Director of Marriott’s renowned content studio, founder of a 360 digital agency, + most recently Editor-In-Chief for IBM, I helped Marriott move from a hotel company to a travel company, Doctors Without Borders rewrite food aid policy, + IBM from “does IBM still make laptops?” to a leader in AI + Cloud through effective 360 campaigns and content within a big, beautiful editorial calendar.

Things I can’t stop won’t stop talking about:
+ Erasing Unconscious Bias in Media + Entertainment
+ The Evolution of Brand Storytelling
+ How Brands + People Find Their Digital Voice
+ Inhousing: Your Brand is a Media Powerhouse

Creative Approach: I uncover human truths and mold them into overarching storylines/campaigns that create momentum, not just one hit wonders, that audiences fall in love with over + over again.

Business approach: I’ve built some of the best agency and brand creative/content studios. My greatest joy is inspiring teams through nurturing a collaborative, agile environment where culture is a priority.

I speak and write about brand and content for Huffington Post, SXSW, Internet Week. I also mentor startups at General Assembly and 1776.
